Okay now. I spent 300 -4 00 thousand dollars a month on Google PPC ads. And quality compositions are really important thing if you want to have a lower cost per click. And you want to get your ad shown to more situates. I’ll be testifying you the 5 big-hearted tips-off to increasing your quality score lowering your expense increasing your reach that I’ve learned in my business so that you can more effectively do Google ads for your business or for your affiliate business or your e-commerce business.
Whatever you’re doing, Google is the biggest … I intend it’s just the biggest ad network around. Google is one of the most lucrative fellowships around.
And it’s all based on their PPC. So, we’ll be going over these 5 things in this video. Looking forward to showing you all the stuff I’ve learned from all the tens of millions of dollars I’ve devoted over the years. Let’s get wise. Now, do you ever feel like you’re just blowing money to the wind with your Google ads?
And you could be getting it done for cheaper? Well, you can.
And it starts with increasing the quality score of your ads. When you increase your quality score, you get higher click-
through paces, lower cost per click and you merely end up procreating more coin and higher ROI for your business. So, let’s go to the 5 things that you can do to increase your quality score.
Now, the first thing that you want to be aware of is you want to use as specific of keywords as is practicable. Using specific keywords is going to … It’s probably one of the most difficult things you can do for AdWords.
Instead of saying … You know, if you’re an advocate. instead of saying “Personal Injury Lawyer”, go after long tail question-based keywords.
If you’re selling a weight loss product, maybe say … Go after keywords that are “How do I lose weight without dieting? “, Right?
That’s a much better keyword than only targeting weight loss. And just kind of illustrate this point. We could think of keywords…
We could think of keyword intent as sort of like…
I think of it as a pour. So, up here, you might have words like weight loss.
Okay? Weight loss. And there’s a lot of parties searching for this keyword. But the money for this keyword is very low. And the objectives in parties that purchase any product or standing on your website are fairly low.
You can increase your quality score by becoming after a long-tail keyword such as I mentioned. You know, some long question-based keyword where fewer parties are scouring it but the amount of return on your investment is going to be much higher, as well as your quality score will be higher because you have the more specific keyword. Another sample would be as if somebody is searching for TVs. Okay? Somebody searching for.
.. Even you know…
We can make it … You know..
. “TVs” is a very broad keyword.
You could get a little more specific saying, “3 2-inch LED TV.” That’s a little more specific. Few people “‘re looking for” a 32 -inch LED TV.
But parties searching for an LED TV have a little better idea of what they’re actually trying to accomplish. They have a much better idea. Now, the ultimate keyword for things like tone composition is going to be…
You know, the eventual … And this is actually a big hack. And if you go after.
.. If you find these keywords in your niche, you’re going to make a lot of funds. And it would be a keyword such as.
. You know, S-M-0- 0-7-3-Q-S. You might say, “John, that’s just a cluster of symbols and numbers.” But if you’ve sold physical makes before, you know.
. This is SKU, okay? This is the SKU number.
This is an actual identifying number if you are looking for a specific model of TV. And these keywords are ultra coin, okay?
This is a good keyword and this will have a better quality score. But if you go after SKUs, that’s a little increment hacker. That’s an Ultra, Ultra money keyword because there are lots of people like me who go to best buy. I look up a few TVs. And what I do is I’ll go and I’ll take out my phone and I’ll take a picture of the actual model number of the TV.
I’m ready to go around the back. Often they have some information. And they’ll say SKU number.
And I’ll simply find it for cheaper somewhere online. I mean that’s the ultimate direction to a target.
And every niche has those ultra-specific keywords you could go after. And your quality score will honor you. Your ROI will honor you. Everything will work better for your business. Whether you’re doing affiliate, e-commerce, or feeling only a regular small business.
Now, the 2nd tip-off that I’ve learned to increase my quality composition is to make a lot of use of negative keyword lists. Okay? Now, negative keywords are letting people know what’s you’re not looking for. So, in my previous specimen, I said somebody might be searching for 32 -inch LED TV. The negative keyword for that would be “3 2-inch LED TV repair”, okay?
Or “3 2-Inch TV manual.” Or “3 2-inch Tv parts.” So, if you’re doing a product like that, you want to sell the TV.
You don’t want to sell the proportions. So, you don’t want to sell.
… maybe you don’t do amends. Or maybe you don’t want to sell.
.. You’re not contributing them to the manual. Those are examples of negative keywords. And if you are even to target them, you’d liquidate a lot less.
Because a TV costs a lot more. You make a lot more money than selling the divisions to a Tv. So, negative keywords rely on to be more targeted. And your ads to show up to people that are more interested in your product.
If somebody searching for advocates, right?
Personal injury lawyers, they might not be … If you’re auction on personal injury lawyers, an example would be lawyer contingencies. Or some kind of another study document.
You don’t want to … You want to be on keywords that paralegals are just probing in Google for interests. So, you can get more targeted if you use more negative keyword lists.
And only the most effective way I would say to do that is to go into your specific pursuit periods in google. And look at the exact huntings that people are looking for. And oftentimes, you’ll notice that probably you’re good 50% of probes are just weird random long-tail searches that aren’t actually advantageous for your business.
So, taken to ensure that out and make use of those. Those will really narrow your places great importance on specifically the people that are going to be potential buyers and going to stand on your webpage and be interested in what your ad and what you have to offer.
And you might be wondering kind of what is my experience doing this. Obviously, I invested 300 to 400 thousand dollars per month in my business buying ads on Google Adwords. I’ve actually done this 10 times, okay? I started in an ad agency. I was just cultivating as a PPC analyst.
And I was coping up to 25 histories of the time. I was … I simply started as an intern.
But I tried to get as much experience because my desire was always to start my own internet business. So, I started working for a company and really managing as many Adwords details. And all employees cherished me because I was really exactly organized their Adwords details for them if they let me.
I’d worked very hard too. I did a better place and I looked at it as a practice to learn and get suffer in doing advertising.
Which I believe the most important skill for anybody selling produces. Peculiarly online. Now, over its first year, I get good at figuring out how to correctly structure an ad campaign. And I visualized a lot of businesses that would just all their keywords that they thought were helpful for their business. Maybe it’s auto mechanic, automobile repair.
.. Whatever it was. And they just made them all in one big campaign. All in one ad group.
But you can increase a quality score dramatically if you separate out your keywords into more specific ad radicals. The best space that I show if you’re selling a product on a national level is to use our beginning keyword, okay? I always have keywords where everything else…
Every other keyword is based around. So, an example of a root keyword might be a personal injury in Los Angeles.
Okay? That’s for a regional business. For national business, it might be big markers.
You know, who is able to … Those are likely to be the seed keyword for an ad group. And generally, I look for keywords.
I use the google keyword implement and I look for keywords that have 2,000 to 10, 000 probes a few months. And I kind of located my entire ad group around that. And I have different ad radicals for each of these specific inquiries. 32 -inch TVs, 24 -inch TVs, 65 -inch TVs. I’d have specific ad radicals for each of the specific types of makes that my business is selling.
This helps Google. This helps you. This helps the customer because they’re going to a more specific product category that you are advertising around.
One factor that Google looks at most is are parties actually clicking on your ads? Because if people are clicking on your ads, that’s an indication of them that beings like what you have to offer.
And that’s your message is good. They will because … What you have to understand about Google is Google is taking a risk every time they depict your ad.
Think about that. How’s Google taking a risk. And action Google is taking a risk because they’re only charging if beings click on your ad. So, each time they present their ad, there’s an opportunity cost associated with them serving your ad. They could register somebody that has they know as going to get a higher click-through rate.
So, running … Having higher sound through pace on your ad is going to help your quality score.
It’s also going to help Google because they’re going to offset more funds because if more people click on your ad, Google establishes more money.
And they have to show little ads. They require … They ever require the highest click-through rate ads.
And how you do that is by optimization. Optimization means that you’re going to write down … Whenever you do an ad, are writing about 10 other headlines that you can use in the ad.
Write out 10 other description positions. Write out a cluster of different versions of your ad and test them. And have them compete against each other. Generally speaking, if you put up 20 ads, perhaps 1 or 2 of them will actually be champions. They will be the most plea to people.
And it’s just data. That higher click-through rate will reward you with a higher quality score and a lower cost per click. Therefore, each customer, each promise coming to your website will end up costing you really a lot less money.
So, it has an overall increase in your ROI. And it builds your competitiveness.
You’re not optimizing your ads, you’re probably “re going to be” drowned out by people who are because people like me … You know, I was controlling firms that accountings you know 10 years ago. There are other beings like me who are just all day, our tasks are to optimize ads to come up with new ad text.
So, if you’re not optimizing your ads. If you’re not forever split testing, you’re going to beat out eventually by someone who is. Even “if you’re having” higher boundaries. And your contestant. If your adversary is spending.
.. If your competitor only has to spend half the amount of the money, you’re probably going to be beaten up. And the last thing to keep in mind is also optimization. But it’s optimizing disembark pages.
Google looks at … One of the big influences is Google wants/ looks for customer experience. They want users coming back to Google.
That’s the whole purpose of it. If you don’t ascertain what you’re searching for on Google, people will eventually stop using Google.
So, to increase your quality score on your disembark sheet, what Google truly looks for is they look for how much age did they spent on your website. And I might be thinking..
If I’m not … Let’s say, I’m not utilizing Google analytics. How would google know how much term individual depletes on my website.
Because they’re on my website. They’re not on google. And the space Google tells how much go they spend on this because they look to see if the person returns back to Google or what we use in the marketing is eject. The eject frequency. So, Google will see that person return back to Google search and search for more.
Search again. They’ll try a different examination. And when Google sees that people are only spending a couple of seconds on your locate before ricochetting back to Google because presumably, they didn’t find that 5 to 10 seconds what they were looking for. It meant that your ground page or whatever sheet people are arriving on from your ad..
It’s not congruent with what the customer craves. It does not actually assist them to find what they’re searching for. Therefore, Google is not doing its profession. Therefore, you are going to get dinged with a low-quality score. The style to raise that up is by.
..
Also, the same thing as your ads invariably split testing their landing page so that it is always petitioning to the customer. The more petitioning it can make your land page so that customers are spending a long amount of go learn through the contents. Engage with whatever you have service or you have a product to offer.
They are going to reward you with a higher quality score. And once again, a lower cost per click. You are going to get a big benefit there and be able to beat out your competitors. Now, that’s about it. I hope you learn something.
